TikTok will pay $400 million to the US. This is to settle a big problem about child privacy. A lawsuit said TikTok and ByteDance collected a lot of data. They took data from many users under 13 years old.
The lawsuit started in 2024. It said TikTok broke privacy rules. These rules protect children online. TikTok agreed to pay the money. This is one of the largest settlements for child privacy.
