Can a heatwave cause trees to fall?
In hot weather, it is not safe to sit under a tree. This is because heat can make trees fall. When it is very hot, trees can become weak. The heat makes the wood dry. Dry wood can break easily. So, if you sit under a tree, it can be dangerous.
During a heatwave, it is better to stay away from trees. Trees need water to stay strong. But in a heatwave, there is not much water. This makes trees more likely to fall. Staying safe is important, so do not sit under trees when it is very hot.
