By using Dubara / Learn by Translating you agree to these terms.

The service

We provide AI-assisted language practice: generated sentences, graded translations, vocabulary hints, flashcards, and leveled news reading. AI-generated content can contain mistakes — it is a learning aid, not an authoritative source.

The level test and any level shown in the app only choose the difficulty of the practice material we generate for you, and you can change your level at any time in settings. It is not an official test, assessment, or certification, it is not a measure of your ability for any external purpose, and it must not be relied on for employment, education, immigration, or any other decision. We do not use AI to make or influence decisions about you, and we never share a level with third parties for such purposes.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account. Anonymous accounts (iOS) live on your device until you add an email; if you delete the app first, that progress cannot be recovered.

Free plan and subscriptions

The free plan includes a limited number of graded translations per day. Dubara Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). On the web it is sold and billed by our payment partner Paddle.com as Merchant of Record; in the iOS app it is billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period — on the web via Manage subscription (Paddle billing portal), on iOS in your App Store account settings. Cancellations and refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

Fair use

Automated, abusive, or bulk use of the AI features is not permitted. We may limit or suspend accounts that harm the service.

Community content

Points and usernames appear on the leaderboard. Choose a username that isn't offensive or impersonating someone.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
