Dubara — Learn by Translating

This page is for Dubara: Translation Practice, the app on the App Store and Google Play. You can delete your Dubara account and the data that belongs to it at any time; deletion cannot be undone.

In the app

Open Dubara on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, go to Profile, tap Delete account and confirm. The account and its data are deleted.

Without the app

Email info@dubara.io from the address of your Dubara account and ask us to delete it; if you sign in with Google or Apple, say so. We delete the account within 30 days and tell you by email when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account: your email address, your sign-in identity and your profile (name, avatar, languages, level).
  • Your learning data: every translation and its grade, your saved words and their reviews, your points, streaks, quests and bookmarks.
  • Your analytics profile and its events.

What is kept

  • Invite-a-friend records, if you used an invite code or someone used yours: keyed hashes of your Google or Apple account ID and your email address (one-way codes, not the ID or the address itself), for 2 years after the deletion, then they are deleted automatically.
  • Error reports, the reports you sent about content and the technical records of AI requests: your user ID is removed from them, and they are kept without any link to you.
  • Purchase records, if you bought Dubara Pro: the purchase history that RevenueCat, our subscription service, holds under your user ID, and the records Apple or Google Play keep of your purchase.
  • Records we must keep by law, such as payment and tax records.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google Play: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first (see the refund policy). More about your data is in the privacy policy.
